Featuring over 35 Invited Record Vendors & Collectors from California & the surrounding states. Producer Invite, where we invite a handful of artists to showcase recently created music, some as recent as that very moment. ALL HARDWARE, No Laptop's, No CD's, Setup on stage. In the past we've been blessed by artists such as Ras G, Dibiase, Pryvet Peepsho (Beautiful Kalamari), Greyboy (Warchurch), Ill Naughty, DJ Wool, Immortal Fader Fyters, Elusive, & many others.

"he regulars" from Buena Park, San Diego, & Pasadena Record Show's including record dealers like Armand Lewis, the Bermudez brothers, Amador Calvo, & Steve Kader. You will find out quick that downstairs is also where you need to go to grab a drink or 2. The bar is open all day, however we do encourage casual drinking (kids present). Bring your broken turntable(s) & DJ Abel will repair it on the spot + Wax Poetics Magazine rare back issues as well as new issues are available downstairs, fresh off the press from New York. OUTSIDE - Hosted by Hip Hop Philosophy.com Radio, & Jandisc Records/Jandisco Sound System

Outside is where you will find boundary pushing designers, the clothing they've created, and the people who love to look fly. But nowhere in Beat Swap Meet can you get away from the records. Spaceboy Boogie X, Detroit native Scott Craig, Peruvian brothers Rich & Renz Revelli, Mark Maxwell of KPFK 90.7 can all be found selling there records outside. Here you will also find King of LA 1st Place champ, DJ Jawa, and his Scratch Academy booth where you can learn new and old scratch techniques, or just kickback and session with some of LA's finest DJ's. Other outside features:

- Our Resident Barber, producer/DJ/MC, Snagneto. Come get lined up by an OG!
- Food provided by DJ Mighty Junebugg & her catering company: Rapper's Delight
- Kids Section hosted by Woven Culture.
- Spontaneous drum circles.

Beat Swap Meet is an All Ages event.

Friday: 5p - 9p

Saturday: 4p - 7p
Sunday: CLOSED

 

Practice memberships can be purchased for $10 a day or $50 a month for students who ARE NOT currently enrolled.
